Do You Need Bank Statements to Enter Bali? Here’s the Truth

You may have recently seen headlines suggesting that travellers must show bank statements to enter Bali — but don’t worry, this information is not accurate

Are Bank Statements Required for Bali Entry?
No. Travellers do not need to show bank statements when entering Bali or Indonesia.

Current Bali & Indonesia Entry Requirements for Visa On Arrival B1 or VIsa Exemption A1 
Indonesia’s immigration rules remain unchanged, and visitors must only provide the following:

- A valid A1 or B1 visa for Indonesia
- A passport valid for at least 6 months
- A return or onward flight ticket
- A completed All-Indonesia Arrival Card
For Bali you will also need to pay the tourism levy for Bali.
